Well, another visit to the Dr's office and all is still well. This trip included some blood work for the triple screen. We talked to the doctor about CVS and amnio, since the blood work is a precursor to this decision anyway. He said the same stuff I'm finding on the net (amnio is more accurate than CVS and only increases risk of miscarriage by .5%, CVS can create limb deformations, etc, etc - he even had his statistics accurate - the guy rocks).
Anyway, in 4 weeks we will have an ultrasound and find out hopefully if it is a boy or a girl, etc, etc, etc. I'll pass it on when I know.
Lisa is about to bust
Matt and Lisa are about to have their baby. Lisa is hoping they will induce on the 25th. Angie is even planning to come down on Saturday or something for the wonderful occasion. I'll probably try to make at least an appearance at the hospital and take some pics just so that I have something to put up here.
Especially now that people are contacting me about updated pictures of my wife's uterus (proof that some people are a little strange).
I also wanted to let you all know that while I will be poor as poo for the next 3-4 weeks, my wife has somehow managed to meraculously pay the entire tax bill for 2001. I'm told this is largely due to her incredible diligence in paying the monthly and quarterly estimates and whatever all else I was supposed to do in years past.
We still owe through the nose for 2000, but 2001 is free and clear!!!!
Matt & Lisa's Baby
Matt & Lisa had a little baby girl sometime around 6:30pm yesterday (04/25/02). I'll get more pics and stuff. She was 6 lbs 4 oz and 19 inches long. Here are some quick pics.
