OK, A million years, I know, BUT...
Aiden's first tooth surfaced today. Lower left front tooth and it just broke the surface today or yesterday (159 or 160 days old - about 22 weeks). Just thought you all might want to know.

Eating out and shopping
Aiden is now out of his car seat as of Saturday the 8th. He doesn’t like this car seat as much as the other one but this one fits him much better.

On February 28th he sat in a high chair for the first time at Red Robin. I put his little high chair / shopping cart mat in there first. It has toys attached to it which were soaked in slobber when we are done. He loved it and so do we. We didn’t have to hold him when we ate. So then on March 9th we decided to try it in the shopping cart at Winco. He really liked this because he could see much better than in his infant carrier. The only problem with the carts is that he can’t sit up on his own yet so he tends to lean towards the right. The high chairs are smaller so there is less room for him to fall over, but it’s nothing some blankets couldn’t fix.

He is getting is such a fun age. He is starting to do more stuff and is interacting with us more and more each day. He is learning that when you smile or laugh he should smile or laugh. He is also trying to crawl but hasn’t figured out how to get his butt in the air and move his arms and legs all at the same time. He gets frustrated after a little while and usually rolls over to his back.

Night Night Aiden
We are trying the bed time thing. Some people call it sleep training but basicly it’s cry himself to sleep. It first started when my Mom came over last weekend. We gave Aiden a bath like unusual and then she dressed him and I went to my office. An half an hour later she came in announcing that he was asleep in his crib. I was amazed. He didn’t even cry. I struggle every night to get him to bed. I hold him, rock him, nurse him, basicly whatever can be done to get him to sleep. So I thought she did this so easy. I can do it. It‘ll will be a piece of cake. WRONG!! We tried for the next 4 nights and one of us ended up giving up. We finally stood our ground last night. He cried for 48 minutes before he fell asleep. I even had tears in my eyes. So he slept from 10:00 until 6:45. Not bad so we tried again at first nap. He only cried for 11 minutes (which seemed like much longer) and slept 1 ½ hours. We now feel good that it is working. Then came afternoon nap. He cried over an hour so we picked him up. He acted like he had a tummy ache so I gave him some medicine and put him back down after he felt better. He again cried for over an hour. I gave up. We had to get ready to go anyways. Well thank goodness that he only cried 3 minutes tonight. We are hoping by two weeks that night and nap time will go more smoothly.

In other news the second tooth popped up on the 19th. His other one is now more noticeable and his bite now hurts. Yes I’m still nursing. Richard got his flash back so new pictures should be up soon.

I’m still trying to get to water aerobics a couple of times a week. I have fun and it gives me some alone time, plus hopefully will help shed the pounds off. Summer is just around the corner.

Baby Pics...
OK, we did the home portrait studio thing today. They actually turned out pretty good. We stuck him up there with some bears and watched him fall over and eat the tags mostly. Hahaha. The files aren't as small as they probably could be, but that's good for bandwidth usage. :)

Speaking of chewing on tags. I think this one was specially designed

He kinda looks like he was hording the bears. I guess that'll probably actually play out in a few years with his brother or sister.

This one was just a cute look. You can kinda see his tooth in there.

Of course, I have to put a pic up where you can really see his tooth (at least one of them).

Another cute pic!

Well, off to play with more worker threads. L8r.
